The next round of Wine Blogging Wednesday is hosted by Marcus of Doktor Weingolb who has chosen a regional theme of value wines from France’s Languedoc-Roussillon region. I’m really glad to see this as the past couple events took me into more wine stores than I would have liked 😉
Join us on May 16 to see what types of values can be found from this area… hmm, rose or red?
So simple, it’s almost radical!
Thanks for the note Tim. I also saw your work on the WBW blog site. Nice job! Lenn has been so busy lately — it’s nice of you to step up and give the event a big push like this. It really is such a worthy event.
As for cutting down on the run-around to find an eligible bottle, that is my intent. And I hope to be supplying more post that demystify the region and its wine in the upcoming weeks.
Cheers,
Marcus
Er, what blog? Is this the cat? Is it out of the bag? If so, what is its present address?
Marcus: Just returned from my favorite wine store with two bottles for WBW 33. A white and red both made from several Rhone varieties. Both were also less than $20. Excellent theme which I might just have to podcast about this time…
Dr. Debs: Well the cat is still in the bag, but you can take a peak at what Marcus is talking about here. Expect a more formal introduction from Lenn in coming days.
Thanks, Tim. Looks fantastic, and just what we need as the event gets bigger and bigger as more participate. It’s nice to be able to go to one spot and get all the latest news on it. And I like the forum idea for themes/hosting.
