Could Ponce de León have found his fountain of youth in the bottom of his wine glass? The answer might be yes if he drank red wines. A new study suggests that resveratrol, an antioxidant found in red wines, seems to suggest longer life and less aging; as long as you are an obese mouse, yeast, worms, flies or a fish. As will most of these types of studies, human testing will be in the future. In the meantime, I’m going to still drink red wines to be on the safe side 😉
I saw a documentary that humans were used to be as “guinea pig” where they are paid for to intake the drugs to make it better or for study of the medical laboratories. Resveratrol is proven when taken enough is can help to avoid having risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s diseases.
