Wine Blogging Wednesday has been an international event from the get-go almost two years ago, but it has been an English language affair. Describing wine is one of those things that is difficult enough without translating it from your native language, so some Dutch bloggers have started their own version of the event cleverly titled, “Wine Blogging Wednesday goes Dutch” (thanks for the English, guys, or I would have not spotted it in Technorati). They have tinkered with Lenn’s format some, but each month a couple of wines will be blogged about; interestingly, the same two wines chosen by the host. As Lenn says, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but you could at least tip the ol’ hat a bit and link to LENNDEVOURS.
Proost!
Nice Dutch title you’ve got here!

Tim,
as the initiator of WBW goes Dutch I have today written a kind of apology on my blog (in English) . You were right about notifying Lenn. I did that today, but we should have done that earlier.
But thx for spotting our initiative 😉
Not really that much of a big deal, Mariella, but nice to see you give credit to Lenn. Best of luck with your WBW event.
Cheers!
