Neil,

No money is ever involved in getting on my blogroll. You have been added in the new category of "Wine Blogs" that I will now tag most of "Wine Links" into. Sorry it took me so long to add you...

Cheers,

Lots of good value wines in this last WBW round. Thanks for this one.

I've added a page on Vinismo about this wine; your input appreciated:

http://vinismo.com/en/2003_J._Faiveley_Mercurey

It'd be great to add your full tasting notes, but I think our CC license might be incompatible with yours (we allow commercial use).

Neil,

This wine seemed too tannic when first opened but came around with decanting. I think it will be an interesting experiment to cellar a few bottles and see what comes from a few more years in the bottle.

Thanks for hosting... looking forward to reading your summary.

Hi Tim - i'm so glad that you participated, and it sounds like you found a good wine for the $. Interesting too because 03 was really hot and many Cote d'Or reds were out of balance. It really is a micro-climate thing they have going on. Thanks again-neil
