Thanks for the feedback, Michelle.

I'll tinker with the layout some more before I register the app at App Marks. I'll have to visit an Apple Store to check it out for myself as all the emulators on the Mac don't seem to work quite right on my blog.

Hi Tim!
It works as intended, with no hiccups that I could find. The site looks nice. As I'm not necessarily a podcast girl, I liked being able to access your podcasts through something other than iTunes. However, I would tend to agree with gr above - if I'm in my car, I may not have wi-fi and be stuck with edge, so I'd probably have downloaded the podcast ahead of time. Right now, I'm happily listening to you talk to my buddy Mark Fisher on wi-fi and it's seamless.
The iPhone-specific site also looks nice, but I'd love to be able to view your blog with a similar format. In all fairness, I'd love to be able to view MY blog in the same format, and I don't have the patience. So don't rush it. The advantage of the iPhone is that specific sites are cool, but the mobile Safari handles about everything except Flash.

Thanks for doing this - it's really cool. Make sure you let the iPhone Apps folks know about it. There are a bunch of iPhone apps sites out there, including my favorite - App Marks (http://www.appmarks.com).

Cheers!

I accept your challenge, gr, and will try to build what you request... hope someone makes a Wordpress plug-in to simplify the project ;-)

The site itself works exactly as intended, but it's a bit thin on the content front.

I already get your podcasts on my iPhone! In fact, given that I already own an iPod, the only things in the 8 GB of space on my iPhone *are* podcasts (even 30 GB isn't enough space for music, but it just barely suffices for travel; and no, 60 GB wouldn't be enough either), including yours (computer hacker stuff, a plurality from NPR/APM, so forth).

What about the rest of the site content?

Give us the text too, especially (but with CSS that makes sense on an iPhone--larger fonts, less graphic load, etc: tuned to look good, but to be lightweight to download, which means trimming back the complexity on client-side rendering via AJAX as well), as well as pointers into flickr, other wine blogs, so forth.
