I don’t understand..if it’s probably the best Zin you’ve ever tasted why only a 91 score..I think you have the same issue I do there’s always the chance these a better one out there?? or is it only CABs are worth 95 or greater. Which reason???

I agree that even $45 is a lot for a Zin but we have to splurge sometimes. When you think about it, $75 is not too bad for the Zin equivalent of a Grand Cru Burgundy (yea I know, not quite as good but you get the analogy, I think).

I’m right there with you Tim.

I tased over 200 Zins at ZAP for the TCA screening and the Hayne Vineyard Zins stood out like a hot blonde at Web 2.0 conference.

Great juice - but at 70 bucks a bottle, I’m reluctant such a sizable percentage of my my pinot money towards a Zin, no matter how good. But maybe that’s just me. Exceptional wine.
