This past weekend, Rebecca, Britt, Ben and I made the sojourn to Dundee Hills. For the uninitiated, Dundee Hills is the Rift Valley of Oregon Pinot Noir located an hour southwest of Portland.  The oldest vines were planted in the early 1970s and have since been recognized as one of the few places in the world capable of growing a notoriously difficult grape. What put Oregon on the winemap, was Joseph Drouhin, &#8220;http://winecast.net/2006/11/25/joseph-drouhin-beaujolais-nouveau-2006/&#8221;&#62;one of Burgundy&#8217;s best known negociants&#8221; which is who we immediately hurtled Ben&#8217;s little Nissan towards.
