White Rose Vineyards, “Quiotee’s Lair” Pinot Noir 2002

From the personal stock of Grape Radio’s Jay Selman:

White Rose Vineyard, “Quiotee’s Lair”, Yamhill County, Oregon, Pinot Noir 2002 ($45) - Dark ruby color, intense black fruit nose, concentrated flavors of blackberry, wild cherry and cassis with a touch of oak and silky mouthfeel; a little hot on the finish but with excellent concentration. A little tight right now so it might be better in a couple of years, but delicious none the less. Not your average Pinot. Score 9/10

Thanks, Jay!

My wife gave me a bottle for our last anniversary! With a wife and wine like this, I hope to stay married a very long time!
